In conjuction with Aladdin Shrine of Columbus, the Wyandot County Shrine Club held its annual tabloid sale on June 6&7, 2003, for the benefit of the Shrine's 22 Orthopedic and Burns Hospitals for children. These hospitals have no billing departments as all care is provided free. It costs the Shrine approximately $1,000,000 per day to provide these services. The tabloid is free, but the donations it generates open the hospital doors, provide doctors and nurses and equipment for the healing of any child brought to the Shriners' attention.
