2011 Membership Awards

Edward Snyder received his 70 year pin from WM Bruce Schoenberger at the July 4th meeting. Brother Snyder drove from Florida for the presentation. He also made a donation in memory of his father, Jim, and his best friend in high school, Dave Stephan.

 

50-year chapter and council member Richard Hasting and daughter Sandy Niederkohr, pin presented on July 20 in Niederkohr home.	50-year chapter and council member William Gibson and his wife, pins presented on July 23 in their home in Bowling Green.	50-year council member Donald Callahan and his wife. Pins presented on July 23 in their home in Liberty Center. All pins were presented by Ron & Deb Pool.

Joel Kin (R) received 25 year awards in Lodge, Chapter & Council. Edwin G. Herrick (L) Grand Marshall of Grand Council presented the Council award.	Joe Hickman, the District Deputy Grand High Priest of the 7th Capitular District, was awarded an honorary membership in McCutchen Chapter.

A large crowd including family and friends witnessed a presentation of
membership service awards recently in the dining room of the local Masonic
Center. Warpole Lodge #176, F&AM; McCutchen Chapter #96, R.A.M.; and Upper
Sandusky Council #98, R&SM held a combined meeting to honor 22 members who
attained certain levels of continuous membership in one or all three of the
groups.
Those qualifying were: In Warpole Lodge: 25 years: Ricky Arnold, John
Cocherl, Donald Easley, Ruben Jones and Joel Kin. 50 years: Donald Binau,
Thomas Miller, Raymond Stroud and Richard Young. 60 years: George Dickson,
James Leslie, Arden Rogers, Louis Schoenberger and Norman Walton and 70
years: Edward Snyder.
In McCutchen Chapter: 25 years: Joel Kin and Kenneth Ralph. 50 years:
William Gibson and Richard Hasting. 60 years: Arden Rogers and Louis
Schoenberger.
In Upper Sandusky Council: 25 years: Joel Kin. 50 years: Donald Callahan,
William Gibson and Richard Hasting. 60 years: Meric Curlis, Arden Rogers,
Louis Schoenberger, Ferdinand and Frederick Williams.
Robert Stansbery also received a certificate naming him "Councilman of the
Year" for 2011 and Joe Hickman, the district deputy grand high priest of the
7th Capitular District, was awarded an honorary membership in McCutchen
Chapter.
Following the meeting the crowd was served Klondikes and beverages  by
officers of the lodge.
Those men unable to attend the ceremony sent their regrets and received
their awards by mail, in their home or in a Masonic Center near where they
live.
